ISO 2001, 2008 Quality Control Chart

Both are centers are the first in France to obtain the ISO 9001 for refractive surgery in 2003. This Quality Control Chart has been extended to our cataract and retina surgeries. This Chart guarantees an optimal coverage all-through the differents steps of the therapic process such as:
    - the eye tests before surgery done by qualified professionals
    - the regular basis check ups of our high tech equipments.
    - a fully controled surgery that includes an optimal traceability
    - a permanent analisis of the results to guarantee constant improvements.

The training for this Quality Control Chart has been carried out with the help of Bureau Veritas: it lasted a year; the audits of the certification have been done by Bureau Veritas Certification.

Certification BVQI

The ISO Quality Control Chart implies the set ups of a written framework and a "quality manual". The framework includes the totality of the existing actions in the surgical process and consultations. All the quality protocols are gathered in a "quality manual" which is regularly reviewed.

This approach was taken in order to guarantee a full control all-through the processes leading to surgery.

This way, we regurlarly control:
 The results which enable us to improve the techniques and their means
 The patients satisfaction surveys
 The reliability of ours instruments for consultation and surgery. The metrology is regularly updated
 The microbiologic conditions of asepsis in the operating bloc
 The regulatory surveillance concerning medical, administrative, or legal updates
 The correct medical record keeping according to established protocols.All the medical information is checked through the different processes before surgery
 The absence or decrease of the anxiety before, during, and after surgery.
 The quality of patient care
 The efficiency of the receptionists
 The timing of an appointment making
 The waiting during the consultation
 The easy access to the center

All these informations are processed on a regular basis therefore allowing us to improve the quality of our services.
